Default Code 85...see if anyone can interpret

I pulled the codes on the Mustang today.

It gave me a code 85 with the key-on-engine-off test. It was in the first set of codes...so it wasn't a continuous code.

The book lists code 85/non-continuous as a "Canister Purge Solenoid circuit failure." Anyone know what this is?

If it was a continuous code, it would be "Adaptive fuel limit reached - lean" which I know I am running lean.

Anyway, any help is much appreciated.
