Question Code 98 Hard fault FMEM Mode?

Ok, all i did was swap a 70MM to 65, set TPS to .986. Start her up, and check engine light is on, so i do a KOEO and KOER

KOEO:
85-can purge, none there
56- MAss air above max voltage
KOER:
98- Hard fault FMEM Mode...?

can anyone shed some light on this..? Again all i did was swap TB's thanx very much in advance@!@!!

FMEM is Failure Mode Effects Management.

This means that since there is something wrong with your mass air meter the computer is going to just use look up tables based on other information. It's basically a limp home mode.

Try resetting your computer. If it is still a problem afterwards, I would suspect that your MAF sensor was the cause of the problem for which you changed the throttle body.
