Code retrieving problems

My check engine light came on and hasn't gone off. It started shortly after my conversion to a 5-speed. When I went to check my computer codes (as Ive done many times)it gave me none. No pass codes, no engine code, and the relays under the dash don't click(the ones that start the self test).
Is it because I have the auto computer in it?
I used the harness for the 5-speed.
Also, my tps won't go above .80, and I tried 2 different ones?
Maybe my computer's cooked, though it seems to be running fine.

About the computer codes, i've read it does't matter what you've done to your car (change to T5) it should at least give you a code. I know this sounds stupid but did you check the batt on the code reader? For your tps, i had the same problem, remove the tps sensor, find a drill bit that will snuggly fit in the screw holes and with a drill elongate the holes. move the drill bit as it is turning up and down, on both sides. That help me.

I don't use a scanner. You can count the flashes of the check engine light to get the codes. I also tried the analog voltmeter method too. Niether worked.
I also checked the connection on the self test connecter, and that didn't change anything.
As for the TPS, what's wierd is that it was set at 9.5 before I switched throttle bodies.
I'll try your idea though.
Thanks for any help!!
