Default coil overs?

ok i bought a k member and had to go coil over but i dont know much about it, can i use my stock strut for now? or do i have to buy the strut and springs in one package?

i will later buy good struta but right now i am running lowon cash.

I have front and rear coilovers on my 92 and thats a big "NO!" on using the stock struts.

ok what make would you reconmend?
and where do you recomend to go or order them from?
i have checked ebay but all they have is the springs without the struts./

I have Koni adjustable struts and I like em. Havent tried any others.

Check with the manufacturer of the kit. Most kits will accept the factory struts with modification, namely removing the cartridge bump plate.

I just took a hammer to the plates, the welds broke and they were out of the way. Presto! lol

ok i am not 100% on what you broke off the strut? does anyone have a picture of this? or of there setup
i really would like to use my stock struts if i can

I'll try to dig something up but if you try to put the coil over on the strut, it will be really obvious all of the sudden.

This is the dust cover that needs removing, keep in mind, once you remove that, you will have some excess dirt collection around there...Good luck!
