Yes, you'll have plenty of room. I already had my Crane HI-6S stuffed between the factory air box and the fenderwell and after the Mac Cold Air install I could probably put three more ignition systems in there. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

i know the fenderwall one is better and all but is it worth the extra $$ and if i get the standard cold air kit will there still be room for a MSD 6AL??

To me, a cold air kit wouldn't be a cold air kit if it was sucking air in from a warm engine compartment. But to each his own.
Is it worth it? Well, that depends on what you want to get out of it. If you want HP, the cold air kit won't do much over a K&N filter. If you want room in your engine compartment and a lot cleaner look, then a cold air kit is what you want. JMO. ------------------ Indiana Stangers Association Buy your parts here |
I would definatley agree, how can you call it a "Cold Air Box" if you are sucking air from a 100 plus degree engine compartment. The fenderwell kit pulls air from outside the compartment, and everyone knows, cold air means HP, hence why some people ice their intakes at the track. Just a thought though
