![]() My car is still misfiring and I need to see if the fuel pressure is good, so I need to buy a gage. I have wanted one for a while, and there is no better time than the present. What type of range (psi) should I get and should I bother getting a combination fuel/vaccuum gage or just a fuel pressure gage. What brands are good? What are some prices that are fair?
I also want a compression gage and have some similar questions, mostly about price, brands, and psi ranges. I am also looking for the kind that comes with the adapter, so that different size threadings (14mm, 18 mm, etc) can be tested. The local part stores(Auto Value and Napa) don't have squat. Their compression gages look like they have been in the store for the past 10 years and they don't have fuel pressure gages. I don't want to buy something that old. So, I will have to purchase this by the web or mail order. Thanks for any input. Jeff
