Default Throttle Body and MAF

Well, i was wondering, would getting a larger throttle body and MAF be of any use on a stock motor? Also...are the ones on 5.0's 53mm stock?

No. Many Mustang magazine dyno tests have shown that a 65mm TB actually can reduce power on a stock 5.0.

No, they're 60mm.

Matching the TB size to any motor is always a good idea. In one dyno test performed by 5.0 Magazine, they had a mildly modified 302 (heads, intake, cam) test mule. I believe the 65 mm was the best. However, it should be noted that in some cases, a larger TB provided higher peak HP, but with loses across the lower to middle power band.

On a near stock motor, stick with the factory TB.

Ditto.
Except someone even tested a bigger TB on high hp motor, and said that the dyno showed no improvement, and lost drivability.

I'm sticking with my 65mm on the 500hp combo I'm building.

Default MAF

When I changed my MAF from the stock unit to the C&L 76mm, I noticed a nice improvement. The car seems to pull harder after 3000 rpm and doesn't stop until redline. I still have the stock TB.
