yes engine has been slightly modified.....................

It took me a day and a half, but Itook my sweet time about it to make sure I did it right. How skilled of a mechanic are you?

If you never done it before, that timing cover can be a #$%^& bitstch!!!:)

If your not a mechanic, it can be frustrating. I'm in the process of rebuilding my whole top end from the cam up. At times I wished I never tore apart my running Stang. In the process, I was constantly rechecking the instructions and cross refrencing with what I've read and heard, posting questions here and on other tech boards, rechecking what I'd done to make sure I did it right(lack of exp. and self confidence only adds to the total time), it's been rough. I should be firing up tomorrow after lengthening a few vacuum lines( the TFS StreetHeat intake uses slightly different vacuum port locations), make some electrical connections, reattach the exhaust( after replacing a broken header stud), and get an intake spacer( my EGR valve is now hitting my adj. fp reg., causing the upper intake to not be able to seat). If you can, have a knowledgable friend or two to help you out. Also, I waited until I had everything I could possibly need to do the job but, you'll always end up running to the parts store for something! I'll post and let you know if it was all worth it.

P.S. If this is your daily driver, don't try it yourself unless you've scheduled some time off from work!(I was sharing my wifes Blazer and the fuel pump went out.Now I have no working vehicle!) GOOD LUCK!
