Let me know what you think. The file is attached. I'm pretty happy with the second (quicker) run and overall I had a great time blowing out 2 camaro's
I was told that I got the left front wheel off the ground a little on the slower (first) run. The air was really bad and the humidity was intense. I'm having some traction problems but with more practice I'll get better. I only have 400 miles on the drivetrain so I didn't hook up the t-brake yet. With more practice I can improve on these #'s but for my 1st time at the track I'm very satisfied. Thanks to everyone who helped me get this far.

BFG Drag Radials. I set the pressure at 18lbs. initially but I think the next time I'll drop it to 14-15. On my second run I didn't do a good enough burnout so the tires chirped quite a bit during the first 60-70ft. A set of slicks is really what I need.

Hey I noticed you too run at Lebanon Valley!! That is where I run.
Your car looks pretty mean, and the times look good. I gues those BFGs hook well, I will find out how mine hook when I get my 5-speed.

You were there?? It's nice to know I have a local Mustangworks buddy @ the valley. Those BFG's are pretty good but I didn't do the best burnout when I ran the 12. I think if I heated them up a little more I can get more out of it. But with so little mileage on my setup (400 miles) I'm not sure if I should keep pounding on her so soon. Nice to hear from ya!!

Might want to work on the reaction time a little.
Pretty nice numbers, though I'm assuming you shut down on the slower run. Seems to me you have a fair amount left in that combo, you should see some mid 12's if you can get some decent 60' times, ie the slicks you mentioned. You get some good air and some slicks and that suckers gonna haul. ![]()

Point well taken. I know I can do better on the light. I wasn't really trying to turn a good light, just trying to get a handle on launching the car while foot-braking and flashing the torque convertor. But, I get your point and I will improve on that, especially once I wire up the t-brake and hold a button rather than watch the tach. Thanks for the kind words. mysweetlx.... Let me know when you plan on heading over. Jay Quote:

Hey stang_ROTY, I am going up on the 31st, and should have a stick by then. I don't know if I was up there that night, but I have gone 7-8 times this year. It is a 2 hour drive for me, but I still manage to go. Actually my dad (ThreePonyStable) goes up there also. I would love to get a bunch of guys up there to go. I have already met Godslayer (I think that was his board name) up there! We should get a bunch of guys to go one time.
How about the 31st! I am definateyl going, my club has a Mustang meet that day!
