Default Computer for 94 AODE

See Signature for Car Description:

Due to a problem with the C-4 (problem=broke tranny) I am forced to put the AODE back in the car. The mechanic that originally did the swap way back in about 96 had the original tranny and so I had him put it back in. However we seem to have a problem, we need a computer for it. I hade a cobra unit in with the C-4, but now I need one for the Auto. My question is what kind should I buy. I can get "rebuilt" at Advanced Auto for under $150, while some online junk yards want $200 or more for used ones.

Does anyone sell an aftermarket one that might help add more power and help the AODE shift better? I really want to put a manual in, but due to budget problems (aka. New House) that will have to wait.

Any other ideas to get the most out of this new making me slower tranny?
