How Much Faster?
Okay, after going to the track, and running 34 more times, I have yet to better my 14.1, and I have even added tires, 275/40/17 Drag radials out back, and 15x5 skinnies up front. The best I have been able to get since that first time was a 14.25!!! After struggling with this horrible tranny I decided to buy a used 5-speed and all the parts to install it.
My first question is, how much would it ost to install it? Right now I might not be able to do it at home, so my only other choice to get it done quickly is to pay for it. My second question is, with Quick Time Pros, what times should I expect. I have heard of some guys gaining .80 from this swap, I just want to go mid to high 13s, is that possible? Thanks for your help!
