Convertable Boots
I just got my 89 GT Convertable and the guy didnt have the boot. I didnt ask him, cause I only thought about this now, but what color would the boot be from the factory.
The body is DRK BLUE, wich the gray ground effects, the interior is Gray Leather and the window trim is standard black. The second part of the question is does anyone recomend a place to get one, there's a million place on the web and they all seem to average around 75 bucks... Thanx Guys, -=as=- |

Boot suggestion
If I needed a convertible top boot, I would buy it from Mustangs Unlimited.
They have them for $99. and I trust their quality. www.mustangsunlimited.com They only list them in black, white, dark grey and dark red so I assume you would want the dark grey color to match your interior. |

I suppose I'd have to see some color swatches I guess, cause I wouldnt call my inerior DARK gray.. that's why I was concerned with trying to match the interior, since I have my doubts about finding the exact match, I think I'm going to the go the BLACK route...
Thanx for the info... -as |

I would have to say the boot was probably grey to match the interior. Thats what color mine is but it's just plain ugly on my black beauty. I'm going to get a black one when I have the moneys. Mustangs Unlimited is good to order from. I've ordered my white face gauges and all new front headlights(clear) all the way around the front from them and they did have excellent quality. If I can't get some things like that from summit, then I use Mustangs Unlimited.
Good Luck, James

Yeah, I have the same problem. I know that my original boot was light gray and matched the interior but I can't seem to find the same color boot. In fact, it sounds as though you have the same exact color scheme as my car. I'll probably wind up buying one and then find my original buried in a closet somewhere.
