Convertible Top
i have trouble closing my top because it doesnt go down far enough to lock it in. i can do it, but its like a 3 man job. the motor for the top sounds like it is straining. also, the top is in rough condidtion. is it possible that because it is weathered that it has shrunk some?? id rather not replace it yet because of the $$
thanks!!!! |

It may be that you are low on hydraulic fluid. Pull the back seat and pop the rubber cork out of the cylinder you see sitting there. (It's on the passenger side). Add some ATF to it and then put the cork back in.
The hardest part of the whole operation is getting the back seat out which isn't that hard. ------------------ 351W 89 Mustang GT Convertible |
