As far as the price goes - unfortunately I have to pay overhead - I have equipment payments, rent, utilities, and what not after that I have to support myself and put gas in my truck, since I earn my living porting heads and fixing carbs - so I don't think that what I charge is necessarily greed - I have to charge what I charge in order to pay the bills. Of course if I was just doing it for fun to practice and I had a full time job, then of course I might be able to lower the price. However if your guy is going to include the parts he's actully doing the labor for free.
