Question burning coolant

is there any way besides a blown head gasket, that coolant can be burned and blown out the exhaust. the coolant lines to the throttle body are not hooked up and new heads and gaskets were just put on. it was running for a little while and tons of white smoke and coolant drips from the pipes. help me.
