Post coolant temperature sensor?

I just tested my coolant temp sensor with my multimeter.The results are 4.43 ohm's.Is this reading ok?

Coolant temp. sensor or switch I would just buy a new one if it is the switch that is the one in the Intake by the distributor is is like 4$.
