Coolant temp sensor?
I'm just curious what the effects of a bad coolant temp sensor are? Will it cause an engine to run warmer then normal, and anything else out of the ordinary?

The computer will add/remove timing bases on these temperature readings, so if it is not reading properly it can reak havoc on your performance. Here is what the computer is doing in regards to timing:
WOT_ADVANCE_VS_ECT # ( 254, -4 ) ( 246, -4 ) ( 236, -2 ) ( 200, 0 ) ( 120, 0 ) ( 86, 3 ) ( -256, 3 ) |
