![]() OK, my buddy has an RX-7 that he loves to death, and he's cool with the Stang, so he's allright afterall
![]() Anyway, he has read on his ricer message boards that a trick way to restore lost power is to fill the engine with ATF and let it sit. After a number of minutes (hours?) you then drain the ATF and fill with an appropriate amount of oil. He says this is supposed to re-condition all the seals and remove all deposits... I asked him if some crackhead randomly posted this on his ricer board, but he said that it seemed to be the concensus over there? Do you think there's any truth to this? Do you think this would apply only to the rotary engine?? Or what? -J
