Unlimited Performance sells an EGR delete plate that does away with the EGR space but still gives the bolts for the throttle cable. I've installed one on my car and really like it. Its only about .25" thick so I've shortened up the intake run by more than 1.5". I had long ago rendered my EGR inactive, so it was doing nothing but taking up space.
