![]() I have a 351 windsor with the powerglide conversion kit. I installed a CVR hi torque starter #171 - 5056 from Jeg's last night and now the starter will not engage the flywheel. It is about 1/8th inch shy of the flywheel. Anybody ever had this problem or am I doing something wrong? Is there another part that I need? Want to go racing next week but it would help if I could start the car.
