cyberstang5.0, question for you

I see that you live in H-town. I live in Baytown, right next door. Where are some good speed shops for fox bodies? Also, do you have any recomendations for a place that does good quality custom paint jobs, such as designs and things of that nature? Thanks,
Caymon

Houston Performance is an excelent place to have stuff done. They installed my 3.73's before I blew up my rear end :D. I rebuilt it myself after that. Also, I'm a member of www.westsidemustangs.com you can read around there and check out other performance shops. I do my own work, so I dont have much experience with shops.

They also have ppl posting stuff about paint shops all the time. I HATE my paint and body shop. STAY AWAY FROM PLATIUM MOTORSPORTS!!!!

Thanks for the info. Where about is Houston Performance? I'd like to check it out.

They installed my 3.73's (parts included) for $400 and I had to get a new carrier. It took them a day to install them.

That sounds like a good price. I got qouted $1000 for 3.73's and a posi , parts & install, for my truck at a local performance differential shop in Baytown.

 I wouldn't pay more then 600 for a COMPLETE rear end rebuild with parts. After I blew up that carrier, I installed a Auburn posi carrier. Never had a problem with it, and love the traction inprovments it gave me.
