Default Do control arms really help 60" times??

I thinking about buying some new upper and lower control arms to help my 60" times (2.2's), the MAC pieces seem reasonably priced but will they help my 60" times??? I already have subframe conectors. Suggestions?????? I need the holeshot badly because my buddy just got new gears for his 1998 Cumaro.

The lowers are more important and I would concentrate on them and save your money on the uppers. Theres a lot of very fast mustangs out there with factory uppers.

Yes, control arms make a big difference on traction, but its a package deal, you need to get sticky tires too, the suspension pieces change the suspension only, you still need tires as that is what is in contact with the road.

I was wondering the same thing. Actaully, I was also wondering what kind of times are possible on street tires....

I have never really liked slicks, and I would be willing to spend more for suspension and tires if I could get a very stron E.T.

Also, is the reason why stangs have trouble at lower E.T.s without slicks just because of their high amount of torque?

Thanks,
DoranW
