high volume oil pump and stock pan
has anybody every heard if this is a safe setup or not? My friends tell me if i do this the pump will suck the pan dry and cause problems, i have a 331 stroker that i intend on supercharging. please advise.

M-68HV Melling High Volume pump and stock pan here for 3 years and never a problem! If it were HV and High Pressure, maybe.. but I've never had a problem. You may have to clearance the pan a little bit with a ball-peen hammer. The pump is a bit (1/8" at the most) bigger with better bolts that protrude a little more than stock.
