Do i need adjustable caster/chamber plates?
 

I was thinking about getting progressive rate 1.5 lower springs But i really don't want to get the adjustable caster/chamber plates. Can i get by without them(i have 15's with 50 series)?????

Those adjustable caster/camber plates are for those who want dial in more negative camber for better handling.
I would suggest a front end alignment after any front suspension mods you make.

you dont "need" them but they would come in handy. i had the same post a while ago in the blue oval lounge, you could look at it. but if you took it to any place that knows how to do allingments then you should be in good shape without them.

I used fms springs, 7/8" lower, and could only get -1.2 deg camber. This wore the inside of the tires a bit (mainly highway miles). With the added adjustment, you should probably set it around -1 deg for street use.

The added caster makes it more stable, and gives it a nicer feel... the free articulation is good too.

I dont have them, and im lowered 1.5 inch. My alignment shop had to drill out the rivet on the strut tower to allow more adjustment, for a $15.00 extra charge over the base price. I would try it without them. If you cant get your car aligned correctly, then you can buy them later if u really need them.

My car is dropped 2" with eibach sportlines, The Alignment shop that does my car drilled out the rivets and it aligned to spec easily. I got 70,000 km (~40,000 miles) out of V rated tires and hard driving. I don't think they're neccessary, they'd make it easier but I'm not going to bother unless I get into road racing.
