Performance Distributors "5.0 Firepower Ignition?" I need to replace my cap, rotor, coil, and wires anyways, their kit has everything I need.

What I am wondering is, is the kit any good, or is it a waste of money? Will it work with any of the Multiple Spark Discharge (ie MSD) units on the market?

Anderson Ford Motorsport sells it and Rick Anderson uses on his car. Anyone else have any first-hand experience with it?

Nobody has used this system?

nope sorry, the stock unit with the aftermarket cap and rotor is what I use and it does outstanding so far. Good luck though, I mean those guys at Anderson motorsports know there *hit so I would trust it.

What kind of cap, rotor, coil and wires do you use?

Any brass top cap and rotor will work fine. I like Taylor wires, and I plan on getting a MSD to finish it off.

I use the brass also, but it last no longer. The center tit wears out just the same on any cap you buy.

USMC 302, are you Speed Density, Or have you been converted?

Don't know if this will help you out but I have had several mustangs and tried different brands on each...the MSD items seem to be the best and last the longest the do sell a pro distributor but i wouldn't waste the money to be honest. just go with their plug wires and a blaster coil and cap. That will get you a few HP too...I use the splitfire plugs they give you a little better gas mileage !!!

Thanks for the help... I am not planning on getting a new distributor, just a cap rotor coil and wires...
