I checked with him and he did the vavle adjusting.

What I meant was how long does the engine act this way, and causing the needle to jump like that (5 min, 10 min, 30 min? etc.).

Oh, sorry. It takes about 2 or 3 minutes to calm down. Seems as if the EEC-IV is learning to find the idle.
