Default Anybody use the GT-40P headers on stock heads?

I found a set of ceramic coated ones and since I'll get the GT-40P heads if (okay, when) I upgrade, I figured I could get these headers and use them in the meantime. Why pay twice? The Ford Racing site says they fit stock, aftermarket and 40P heads, but I've bought stuff in the past that says it fits and it doesn't. Anyone encountered any problems? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure "p" headers are for "p" heads only, other wise why would'nt stockers fit on "p" heads. John

yea, youre right.

the "P" heads need specific headers. so they will not fit on stock E7's

Well, the stock headers don't work on P's because the plugs aren't angled. The tubes on stock headers interfere with the P's spark plugs. These headers go down further and then turn. Now I don't know if this design will interfere with stock angled plugs or the wires. Guess that's what I'm trying to find out.
