![]() Has anyone seen those covers or plates that fit in between the shock towers and the headlights to cover the large holes (and all those little holes) in that area like the one that the factory air cleaner goes through?
If so , where can I get them? |

![]() I know Dugans sells fender cover things. They slip on over your inner fenders to cover all the holes there.

![]() The Dugan pieces look nice I think they are around $169. I am designing my own plates right now that will be made from Alum, it will go from the shock tower to the head light on the drivers side, The Passenger side piece will cover my K&N filter and that area. I am going to mount my MSD on the plate where the battery was since it has been relocated to the trunk. I was able to re-rout some of the wires on tht side into the inner fender and I re-routed the wiring harness from the top of the shock towers to the sides, it really cleaned things up a lot.

![]() Sorry no pic's yet, I am still mocking up the templates. I basically just followed the contour on the inner fender but I did have to angle out to cover the mess of wires where the solonoid was, I wasn't going to drill holes and remount those to the fender, way too much work. I have seen a lot of guys make plates to cover those areas, in a old MM&FF a guy in a orange stang had the plate on ahinge and his MSD was hidden in the fender well. I'll e-mail you a pic of my Dads 93 Cobra he made a cover to go over his Pro-M 83mm and filter combo, that is exactly what I am doing on the passenger side.

I might just try to fab up some like you are talking about, but I want to weld it in place and prep it and paint it all under there to make it all smooth and super clean looking. |

![]() I got it. Looks great. Is that Cobra intake chromed or polished? I polished the intake on my wife's car and I think chroming will be much easier. It took all day to polish and it had some of the work started before that too!
check the car out... http://www.mustangworks.com/girlscan.../andrea12.html |
