Default door locks

Hey all,

I just bought a 93 GT and the power door locks dont work - neither side, not even a sound like they want to work. And the manual lock you can push down at the top of the door - I cant push those down either. Any ideas what this could be?

It most likely means that the door lock solenoids are frozen, this is a typical problem from Ford door locks! I think everyone goes through it!! You can order new ones anywhere, installing them is pretty easy, but cramped if you have big hands! Good luck! If you want, for now, reach in there and disconnect the rod going to the solenoids, it will make locking and unloacking them much easier!

Take the door panels off get a flashlight and look right under the manual door luck thingy ( ) and follow the rod down, it's a little round canister looking thing with the rod hooked up to it!
