I've gone consistent low 1.7x with a best of 1.690 60 ft with my 275/60/15 BFG drag radials. That's with riding the clutch out of the hole. I run alot lower pressure to make them work. 10 to 12 psi. That's what works with my car.
With ET streets or slicks, I could probably dump the clutch at around 4,000 rpm & get a better 60 ft (maybe in the 1.5x range) than with the drag radials.
I'll try out the slicks someday, but I usually race in a radial tire class.
