Question Driveshaft Vibration?

This vibration has been here for about 2 years. Universals are tight, tires and rims have been changed. Can vibrate at any speed. If the engine is reved 3-4k rpm vibration is bad it doesn't matter what the road speed is. Any suggestions on narrowing it down? or just get the shaft balanced and U joints replaced? (Process of elimination)

I had the exact same problem. I tried everthing and then replaced the driveshaft with the Ford Motorsport alum. one and it solved the problem. It cost about 160 from Summit and it comes with new u joints too.

I would say go with the Alum drive shaft, but my car was doing the same thing and after the drive shaft it helped about 85%
but it is still there, but only at 70mph or higer and soem people keep telling me it is because i am running such a high gear 410s

I had a vibration, got a new driveshaft, and it only fixed about 85% of my problem also. I get the same explanation, my 4.10 gears.....

Why not just get an aluminum one with u joints? Cost is worth it. It'll last longer than your car

Try rotating it 180*, that cured my prob once. Also depending on your mods, I actually stretched and twisted my yoke, and that also caused a vibration.

If it is RPM related, check your harmonic balancer, the rubber sleeve may have come out some.

There's so many things it can be, When I put in a new t-5 for the second time, i had one like that, and it turned out to be the flywheel. As of now, I am experiencing the exact same thing you are, but I am going to go the route the others have listed first before messin with the flywheel!
Good luck!
