driving lights

Has anyone ever wired driving lights so they come on without headlights on 89 stang?

Do you want them to come on with parking lights?

You mean DRL's? I made custom DRL's if that's what your talking about.

that would be o.k if the parking lights work too.

Oh, I see now what your talking about. For your application, you'll need to use a relay. Use either the parking light power lead or any other power lead for the trigger and wire the output to the driving lights. Relays are simple:

SPST relay
86 - trigger
85 - ground
87 - both driving lights
30 - 12V+

Good description.... relays are the way to go.. they even fix your stock driving lights on GT's that cause the circuit breakers on the headlight switch to go on and off from overheating.
