Has anyone ever had a problem with there dss motor cause i sure as hell have i bought the motor off one of my friends and he had it sitting for awhile so i took it to a machine shop to have it check out the guy suggested put new bearings in it so we did this when he looked at the crank found out it was cut 010 under sohe took it to 020 put it all back together it kinda bothered me that it was a cut crank but i was happy to have my car running so the other day im out and i totaly loose oil pressure when im ideling so i get the car brought home pull the motor and look at it there is a crack threw the front main second main and third main the only thing i think holding it was the girdle so i take it apart to find my cam bearings out of where they should be ive never see this beore has anyone else had this type of problem nand dss just brushed me off.

i just ordered my DSS- and the guys have been real nice to me/ Call and ask for Eric, he seems really intelligent and helpful. And just for knowledge which block did you get/buy.. hopefully i dont have that kinda problem- i have been through enough sh*t this week with my car- been without it for 1 month and it's killing me. I just dropped 5595.00 for the 306 Super Pro Long block with victor jr.s, and windage tray.
