Whew!!!!........when I got notification that you responded to my last post I thought "Here we go now with the flame wars over who's car is faster"

Before people start thinking that I meant that a 351 beats a 302 everytime, I would like to rephrase what I meant.

With what the average person can afford to spend on an engine rebuild, I think they would be more satisified if they spent the money to convert to a 351 and build a mild 351 rather than build a wild 302......especially if it's a non-EFI car.
When I say "mild", I mean decent heads(not necessarily after-market) and at least 9:1 compression.
I hope that clears it up a little better.

Dark_5.0, in all honesty, your car would run circles around mine right now because I have tons of torque and horsepower and absolutly NO modifications to my suspension regarding traction. It's like trying to race on a skating rink right now..
My traction relies upon my 245/60/14 rear tires.
I may as well have two of those donut spare tires back there!!
