A K member with modified suspension geometry will also help the weight distribution, I'm also planing to move the engine back about 1/2"-3/4".
So it will bolt up?

I did you exact swap in an 86 Capri and now I have a 93 GT w/a 5.8W.
Don't worry about the wieght difference, it's insignificant. Not worth the $ aluminum heads will set you back. Don't move the engine back either, I've never done that but it sounds like a real B***H.
It will bolt to a T5, no problem, don't use your 4 banger tranny.
Get a T5, and an 8.8 rear, your 4 cyl 7.5 rear wont last.
This is a great swap and it's alot of fun but be prepared for the extras, you need a 5.0 front springs, cooling and if you have a pre 86 4 banger, bigger spindles really help.
If you have the 351 already, don't bother with a 5.0.
