Assuming you have a 5.0...and the engine is naturally aspirated...a $750 dyno tune is a waste of money, IMO. You can tune it yourself.

Set the static timing to 14 degrees and fuel pressure to 38-40 psig and go track test it. Change timing or fuel in 1-2 degree and 1-2 psi increments. Changes in mph will indicate if the adjustment was helpful. Tuning done...

If you have special needs, like using a blower, competing in a class, etc., then you may want the dyno tune.

Also, I think the pricing is on the high side of normal. The cost to dyno tune my '03 Cobra was $350. A chip is around $250+.
