Dynomax vs. Flowmaster
ok, to settel a dispute, i am posting this.
Flowmasters arn't as good for turbos because of there chambered design. dynomax ultra flos will out flow the flowmaster 50series. Am i right? thanks ------------------ 1988 Mustang GT, T-5 3.08's, No Smog Pump (Shorty Belt), Dumps At The End Of Stock H-Pipe, K&N Air Filter (Stock Air Box), Removed Air SilencerMy Stang My Site (Not Done Yet) |
I've also heard that flows are bad on turbo engines. And I belive ulta flows do outflow flowmasters.

When I purchasd my car it had hooker aero chambers on it. Shortly thereafter I upgraded my exhaust and switched to the dynomax ultra flo welded and I can tell a big difference. The turbo spools alot quicker now than before. I'm sure some of that comes from the upgrade from 2 1/4" to 2 1/2". I'm not certain whether the hookers are chambers of straight thru and I've not got any experience with flowmasters on a turbo car, but everyone I talked to before I purchased my mufflers said to stay away from anything with chambers. Hope this helps.
