E-cam in my 331????
I am going to build a 331 and I would like to know if my E303 cam will work alright. It's a daily driver with maybe 2 visits to the strip each year. I've got edelbrock 6037 heads,RPM manifold, 70mm t-body, shorty headers,3.55's and the heads will be ported with the stroker combo. Thoughts?????

Re: E-cam in my 331????
There are better cams out there but the E-cam is a proven performer and will work well for what you want.
My 302 puts over 300 to the wheels with the E-cam

Re: E-cam in my 331????
Dark 5.0 How does the Ecam sound? Does it have a good thump at idle? I was wanting a smog legal cam that sounded cool. The only other smog cam is one made by Crane, but it looks the same as the E cam. Thanks.

Re: E-cam in my 331????
The Crane 2040 cam IS the E cam. Crane makes it for FRPP.

Re: E-cam in my 331????
I'd go with a TFS #1 or #2 cam before I went with a E-cam

Re: E-cam in my 331????
If you already have the E-cam, go ahead and use it. Its up to you if you want to step up to a more aggressive cam considering you are going to be tearing the block apart anyways.
