LOL!, No Sir, no sneaky ANYTHING, let me put that E.T. in perspective for any non-believers, that 12.92 was my BEST EVER, the conditions were excellent that day, I was pumped myself, new slicks, goin for my first 12, yadda, yadda, yadda, anyway, the car was ordinarily a 13 teen car in race trim. And yes, maybe the long tubes DID hurt my low end, but I'm launching at 6000, and I don't think rev's fell below 4200 on the whole pass, I had shorty's, the long john's WERE and improvement, believe me. Oh, just thought of something, a secret you may call it, I always ported my hedders to the heads, I was a welder at the time so it was easy and convienient too. And if you think about it, if i did sneak in some nitrous, the MPH would have been up a few, like say 106-107. Guy's that 12 pass was a culmination of doing ALL the tiny little things, I tried to THINK think like a Formula One engineer, "what else can I do?" "what else can I adjust PERFECTLY to help me here or there." Things like that matter.

Nope, no secrets gentlemen, just a clean, ultra-maintained street car making an extraordinary pass. Oh! and yes, it was no light weight either, it was me, I weigh 250 before beer.

What does this analyzer thing say I was making as far as power, I always guessed 250 tops, I never dyno'd the car. Because if a basic GT-40 package is 285, I couldn't have been making anymore than 250 with the stock cam, heads, and intake. Interesting. What do you think?
