heads up stuff for mod motor guys
WE NEED SOME HEADS UP STUFF FOR MOD MOTOR GUYS !!!!!!
I HAVE ONE FAST 4.6 2V BUT BECAUSE I HAVE NOT DEVELOPED MY BRACKET RACING SKILLS MY CAR DOSE NOT GET THE RECOGNITION IT DESERVES HARD WORK IN THE SHOP MEANS NOTHING ANYMORE WHEN 15 SEC CARS ARE WINNING!!! I RACE THE FFW AND NMRA BUT THAT OPEN COMP FORMAT DOSE NOT LEND ITSELF TO REWARDING THE FAST CAR . IF THE MOD MOTOR SCENE DOSE NOT GET SOME HEADS UP STUFF SOON THE ENGINEERING FOR THE MOD MOTOR WILL DIE . REWARD SPEED AND THE ENGINEERING WILL ADVANCE. You don't say what kind of modifications you've done to your car, but you might check out the FFW heads up classes like Street Warrior and Street Renegade. Changes have been made to the rules for 2002 to allow the mod motored cars in those heads up classes. Both classes have written rules that will let the MM cars be somewhat competitive in 2002, maybe very competitive for all we know. It'll take some time to develop the rules to the point where its a completely level playing field with the pushrod cars, but they've got to start somewhere. For S/W, it'll take low elevens and maybe even high tens to be at the top of the field where S/R is looking at low nines and possibly high eights.
