Edelbrock vs. Trick FLow

Which do you guys think is better...Edelbrock heads and intake manifold or Trick Flow heads and intake manifold??? I havent been able to decide cause their around the same price. What cam should i get with each?

Which heads and which manifolds? I choose the trick flow twisted wedge over the perfromer rpm's any day. Edelbrock victor jr. intake gets my vote over the track heat.

I have the TFS street heat upper and lower intake would they fit onto a pair of edelbrock performer heads or do the TFS just out perform cause im lookin for a set of heads around the 1k range to stay in my budget to bolt onto my 347 in the works

Ieatcamaros 10-28-2003 06:48 PM

tfs all the way over edelbrock performers.

I like the TFS heads for the fact of their price and great performance. I like Edelbrock intakes better though, I think the TFS overlook some simple design technicalities making them more of a pain to install/remove. The TFS does have nicer ports compared to the Edelbrocks I have seen though...
Looks can also be a factor on intakes, but that is purely opinion.

Whats a good price for a pair of the TFS twisted wedge or R heads ?

They can be had for less than $1000. Try emailing Dave @ JD's Performance www.jdsperformance.com
