My buddy has a '89LX Convert. and ran a 13.3 on drag radials with a Vortech A-trim (10lbs boost), 4.10's, stock AOD, and 24lb/hr injectors, bigger fuel pump, and full exhaust. Everything else is bone stock, right down to the suspension. The car wasn't even tuned yet.

Not to scare you or anything, he ended up breaking his trans. on the way home. A stock AOD is pretty weak.

Cool

My guess is that you'll break 13.5, but will need a new tranny etc etc soon thereafter.

With traction, I hope you would at least run a 12.5.

13.5 would be my slowest guess. With decent traction I would say 13.0's.

Be realistic. Mid 13's is a good guess. When you bring all the supporting equipment along 12's will come easy.

I would be looking for low 13s if I had that car.

Weld wheels (15x6;15x8), 8.8" Rear w/ 3.55s

Ya, you'll do low 13s, but you will rip that stock AOD to shreds very quickly, and your ets will drop.
