Post Which EEC to buy?

I have an 88GT that had the MAF conversion done to it before I bought it. The A9P that was in it has gone crappy. Which EEC and for what year should I buy? I ran a search of previous posts and read people saying to buy the 89 A9P, and others say other years of A9L. Which one should I get? My car is a 5 speed. I've been calling around for prices and keep getting told that there's two 5-speed EECs. One is oem# E9ZF-12A650-AA, and the other is E9ZF-12A650-BA. Does anyone know the difference?
