![]() I'm working on a '65, 200ci 6 banger. The carb that's on the car, and the original one as far as I can tell, has "DOPF-9510 K" and "4329-1 1714" on the side of the carb.
My problem is in finding a rebuild kit for it. All the ones I've looked at so far have the wrong gaskets for the body of the carb, as well as small carb/intake gaskets. And of course Ford doesn't list a kit for this dude any more. The carb on the car has two floats in it, even though it's only a one barrell carb. There is one float on each side of the carb inlet (slightly offset from the inlet itself). But the kits I've looked at have much smaller housing gaskets. They appear to me as though they're for carbs that have only one float. Anyone been through this before? And if so, what did you do to get the right one? Thanks in advance! Wendell Allen |
