EFI conversion with Speed Density and a 351w?

I know it says the 83GT is soon to be a 2.3Turbo thanks to the TBird, but the Tbirds motor was missing some parts so now Im going to be getting my hands on a running 351w out of an 88 F150. My question is this. Can I use a 86-88 5.0 Speed Density harness and computer to run this engine? I know it can be swapped but I guess my real question is will it run right? I really dont want to use a mass air harness because everybody wants a ton of money for them, I figure I could start with a speed density setup and if all else fails, just do a mass air converstion. The 351 will be nothing wild, i just want it for my daily driver, maybe a cobra intake and gt40 heads, but maintaining the stock cam. I see that guys like 88workcar have excellent results with a 302 and speed density, I was wondering if it can be done with a 351 and speed density. THANKS

I don't know, but the 351 may have had SD in some of the trucks. If it did, then why not just get a computer from one of them?

This truck is a SD truck and I have acess to the whole harness and computer. I looked into using the F150 computer and the mustang harness but the mustang harness is setup for Sequential fuel injection and the f150 is a batch fire. I know that the pins can be switched around, but I dont know if I can switch them around enough to make the f150 computer work on the mustang harness. Id rather use a 5.0 harness and computer because it would fit so much better in the engine bay. Im not quite sure how well the F150 harness will fit in the engine bay. I guess only time will tell at this point. THANKS
