Ok, I done a search and didnt quite find the answer for this:

Deleted all the emissions including the egr on my 86GT, some say that I will have detonation problems and others while other people say no porblems at all.

So far I have about 15,000 miles on this motor with no problems yet. Mods are bored 30 with an E cam, stock heads with trickflow valvesprings.
