EGR Valve for a '93 LX 5.0L HO "Feature Car"
Hi,
I'm having a difficult time locating an EGR valve for my '93 LX. It is one of the limited edition "Feature" cars produced by Ford. The OEM part number is F3AE-9F483-A2A. I have tried a few online sites (including fordparts.com) and some local parts places, but none of them can cross-reference the part number. NAPA Auto Parts had one that looked very close to the OEM part, however the base of the unit is too wide and will not bolt up to the EGR spacer. The EGR butts up to a bracket on one side and the NAPA part will not fit. Any thoughts on where I could get some assistance or locate the part? Please excuse the post if this has been covered before or recently. This is the first time I have logged on to the board since 2003 (I have been a bit busy) and I'm getting ready to sell her after 10 years. If it matters, here are some specifics on the car: 1993 LX Convertible 5.0L SFI HO (stock) 49,711 miles Thanks! Last edited by 93LXJustForFun; 02-26-2007 at 01:01 AM.. |
