Do you have the black magic fan? That's what I have. On mine, there is a connector that goes to the A/C compressor. I just ran another wire from that connector to a 12v source. This way, whenever my motor is running, the fan is running. It works just like the stock water pump fan, but it doesn't rob the HP. Hope this helps.

The 95 has an electric fan from the factory. It is turned on by the computer. I would check the ECT.

That's kinda overkill. You only need the fan on at idle, and in slow speed and stop and go traffic. At speeds above 25 mph, it doesn't do anything for you.

Take care,

no one answered my question. i just need to know where the sensor is located on my 95gt, the sensor that controls the fan operation. (its a stock electric fan)

It's more complicated than that. The sensor is on the front of the intake, near the distributor. It is the engine coolant temp (ECT) sending unit, and it supplies info to the ECM, which works with the CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module) to control the fan.

Take care,
-Chris

gotcha, i though maybe it was just a sensor that turned on a relay when it got to the certain temp. now that i know it goes through the computer i think ill just stick with the manual fan switch i have now. (that sensor is brand new) i also have the afm-pms (the only bad thing about it is that it doesnt have anything to control the fan) the fan still works when i turn on my a/c. ill try a new sensor seeing as they are pretty cheap. thanks
