electric fan and radiators
 

I'm probably ordering a Fluidyne Aluminum radiator tomorrow and was wondering how the Black Magic Electric fan mounts on it. My stock radiator appears to be made of steel along the top and the fan is clamped to it. Is aluminum too weak for this setup? If it is, how do you mount this fan?

Normally their is a tyrap kind of thing that has a big flat square on one end and is fed right through the radiator itself and throught the fan leggs then the next square washer is slipped over the tyrap then the little tyrap end goes on. This is how mine was done. I think that you can buy the stuff to do it a any parts store.

We've got the same setup, the BlackMagic fits the Fluidyne just like on the stock rad. Man - what a nice setup - you'll like it!
