Default Electric Waterpunp=No Heater?

I was looking into a Mezuire electric water pump. It seems to be real high quality, and it is tauted as one of the only ones that are for street use. I was noticing that there aren't the inlet and outlet tubes that go to the heater core. So do you lose your heater or is there some kind of fix you can rig up? If not, oh well.

Not sure if you can make the electric water pump work with the heater connections. You may want to consider a Flex-a-lite Black Magic electric fan kit that'll give you back hp from your stock fan instead if you can't get heat with electric water pumps for street use.

I have the CSI electric pump and it has 2 inlet ports on it. I don't run a heater, but if I wanted to I could run the return from the heater core to the second inlet. If Your pump only has one inlet there is other ways to run a heater if it is that important.

Thumbs down

I would not trust any 12V water pump for a real street driven car. The pump would either not pump enough water, or the electric motor part would not hold up for too long. This is one reason new cars will run a 42 V system!
